Our Call:

We exist to show students (6th - 12th graders) how to become authentic followers of Jesus.

What We Teach:

Here is the Bible Study six year plan for Student Life:

CHRIST: The Life of Christ-The Basis of Faith

The central focus of the Bible is the Son of God. His life, death and resurrection are the most significant events in all of history. All of Scripture before Christ points to His coming. Everything after His resurrection takes place because of Christ. A study of Christ is the logical place for a serious study of the Bible to begin.

CHARACTER: Old Testament People-Encounters with God

The pages of the Old Testament are full of people's stories, but the Old Testament is not about glorifying those people. The Old Testament is about glorifying God. From the very beginning, God has been at work in people's lives. People always fall short of God's holiness, but He calls them back to obedient faith. Real character is not found in our efforts but in God's work in our lives.

COMMUNITY: The New Testament Church-The Essence of Fellowship

Connecting with God and connecting with other people are life's most important tasks. Community happens when people's lives are connected. Community is essential for a full and meaningful life. The community of believers is the Church. The Church strengthens those who have found life in Christ and shares God's love with those who have not yet responded to His grace. In this study, students witness the birth of the New Testament Church and its multiplication around the world. They will also see what the Church was intended to be today.

COVENANT: Knowing God-His Relationship with His People

Throughout the Bible, God has related to His people by establishing covenant with them. This volume traces the covenant God established from the patriarchs to the New Covenant ushered in by Jesus Christ. It will focus on God's faithfulness, forgiveness and sovereignty. Students will discover that they can only know God in a covenant relationship and will be challenged to build their lives on the promises of God.

CONSECRATION: Set Apart for God-The Christ-empowered Life

This volume is all about the transformed life. Christian life is about Christ at work in the believer. The Holy Spirit lives inside all believers and causes them to be set apart for His use. He empowers them for righteous living. This study follows God's work throughout Scripture to recreate the image of humanity into the image of His Son.

COMMISSION: Called by God-The Ministry of Reconciliation

These lessons deal with God's mission throughout history to reconcile lost humanity to Himself. Students will understand how God has commanded them to participate with Him in that mission. This study traces the God's purpose for humanity and the call to extend God's Kingdom by the power of the Holy Spirit through personal witness and ministry.
