A Ministry Strategy for
a New Decade
The goal of your staff is to get
us
to the next level as a congregation.
There are a lot of strengths in this
church, and the listening sessions were vital to
the process, so it was decided that
the staff will present a plan of action by
March 28. The timetable is to
present on March 21 a written
document of our "Ministry
Strategy for a New Decade."
Then we will facilitate another
listening session on Wednesday March
24 at 6:15. Then the church will
take action on the strategy on March
28 at the special called business
session at 5:00 pm.
It's Time for a Fresh
Start
Some have gotten behind in their
Bible in 90 Days reading and others
never took the challenge... so how
about a Fresh Start? The New Testament
reading begins on Day 68, which is
March 11. Will you commit to reading
the New Testament through by
Easter?

Military
Members Ministry
The Military
Ministry is now underway, although we are in the planning
stages. The goal of the ministry is
to reach out to members of the military through support, assistance,
guidance and hands-on help through various stages of life.
Use the "Military Helpdesk" card found in the
Information Center so we can keep up with our military
personnel. Your contact person for the Military Ministry is retired
Army LTC Terrence Farrier. Please use this
form to get on the mailing list. [ Go

DNow Weekend
DNow
is an event that requires total
church involvement! We need
people to help provide meals for the
different homes, we need people to
transport the students from the
church to their host homes and back
and we need people who will pray for
our DNow weekend. Registration is
closed but please
visit the bulletin board outside the
sanctuary to sign up to help!

Men of Steel @ King's
Grant
The Men of Steel
are gathering this Saturday, March 13, at 8:30 in Harvest
Hall, for the Men's Breakfast with guest speaker Terry Rae
from South Africa. While free, a ticket will help us know
who to expect. Many men are coming at 7:30 to help set up
and cook.
On March 27, there is an open invitation for those men who desire to grow in their relationship with
Christ and other men, as well as their wife and kids. We are
currently reading through and discussion Stephen Arterburn's
book called, Midlife Manual for Men: Finding Significance
in the Second Half. This is also for young men; why wait
until mid-life and look back in regret? Make changes now
that will have you ahead at "halftime" in life,
rather than playing catch-up in the second half.
