For This Weekend
The Men of Steel
are gathering this Saturday, March 13, at 8:30 in Harvest
Hall, for the Men's Breakfast with guest speaker Terry Rae
from South Africa. While free, a ticket will help us know
who to expect. Many men are coming at 7:30 to help set up
and cook.
Sunday Bible Study: We are on session eleven of the Bible in 90 Days,
which begins at 9:45. After ten full weeks of Bible reading,
we are now finished with the Old Testament and have started
the New Testament. The
lesson on Sunday will guide us into greater understanding of Old
Testament prophetic literature: the Minor Prophets through
much of Matthew in the New Testament.
The Message
for Sunday:
this is a special Sunday because we have in the pulpit Terry
Rae, the Executive Director of Africa for Christ.
Community Lenten Soup
and Scripture: held at St Nicholas Catholic Church this week, with
Skip Wallace speaking (6:00 for
soup, then 6:45 for a brief devotion and prayer).
Nursery for
children ages 0-3 is available at 8:30 and at 11:00 we have
preschool extended session (birth through K) and children's church for grades
1-3.
