Our vision is to help move people toward higher levels of commitment to Christ (the Savior) and His church (the saints).

The best way to reach out to others is not in a mass mailing or the website; but rather person to person, reaching the people with whom we have something in common:

  • Same workplace
  • Same school
  • Same neighborhood
  • Same club or organization
  • Same hobbies

The church may provide activities that cater to the needs of people but it is relationship development that will help them move to higher levels of commitment to Christ and His church.

  • The Community - people who inhabit this city, who may have no idea we even exist, or perhaps that God exists.
  • The Crowd - people who for some reason or another have visited our church, expressing interest and have come to one or more of our events.
  • The Congregation - people who are actually attending our church fairly regularly; including nominal church members.
  • The Committed - people who are members of our church and active in its programs.
  • The Core - people who are actively involved in leadership and ministry of the church, and are passionate abo ut the church motto, Knowing Christ and Making Him Known
  Discipleship Strategy

(Paul) "I have been all things to all sorts of people that by every possible means I might win some to God. I do all of this for the sake of the Good News." - 1 Corinthians 9:22-23 (Ph)

The goal of the ministry is...

  1. To exalt the Savior
  2. To equip the saints
  3. To evangelize the society

We have structured a ten point strategy for developing a unique congregation of disciples...

K - Knowledge
And this is the way to have eternal life - to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth - John 17:3.

I - Instruction
The purpose of my instruction is that all the Christians there would be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and sincere faith. - 1 Timothy 1:5

N - New Creation
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. - 2 Corinthians 5:17

G - Godliness
...we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.  - 1 Timothy 2:2

S - Sanctification
For this is the will of God, your sanctification...  - 1 Thessalonians 4:3

G - Giftedness
Just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly...  - Romans 12:4-6

R - Reputation
Therefore, brethren, select from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we may put in charge of this task.  - Acts 6:3

A - Acceptance
So accept each other just as Christ has accepted you; then God will be glorified.  - Romans 15:7

N - New Testament
For this reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.  - Hebrews 9:15

T - Treasure
...store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.  - Matthew 6:20-21

  Touching Lives for Christ

And the King will say, "I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!"  - Matthew 25:40

Our commission is to reach out to the people of our community and congregation in order to demonstrate the love of Christ. I have found that the key to ministry is intentionality! We must purpose in our hearts to make an impact in the lives of others... we are relational beings!
