Sunday School is the anchor program
at King's Grant Baptist Church. All
of our programs are important, but
if the church is going to grow, it
will happen through our established
and expending small group ministry.
Our theme for this year is...
Get a GRIP on Sunday
School
The point is that whatever we do
at KGBC, it's all about people!
If we are to grow,
we will do it through small group
Bible study, meeting not only
spiritual needs but social and
relational needs as well. Getting
more people involved will happen
only when we reach out to
others. Our primary focus is not on
the people inside the walls of our
church, but those who are not yet a
part of our congregation. We have a
message to share, let's reach out
and fulfill our mission. Next we
actually invite people to
join us at KGBC. Seems like a no
brainer, but we often forget to
simply ask people to come to church.
Statistics tell us that a vast
majority of unchurched people don't
come to church simply because no one
has ever invited them. Finally, we
have to remember that this whole
Christianity thing is about people.
Christianity is more
than a religion, it's a relationship
with Jesus. Let's live out what we
say we believe. The Great Commission
was left for the followers of
Christ. It has been passed down
through the generations, and it is
in our hands today... so let's get
to work!
