King's Grant Baptist Church provides a full range of Christian education, personal growth, life skills, and recreation/leisure programs that help guide every person to identify, prepare and do their ministry as directed by the Holy Spirit. Conducted in an open, friendly environment with a convenient schedule, these programs offer many opportunities for everyone to become actively involved in ministry, to uniquely share in fellowship, and to participate in the various missions of the church. Programs are focused on individual needs and lead one to build a personal relationship with Christ and a close relationship with fellow believers.

We operate on a fall and spring semester schedule, usually covering thirteen weeks with various Wednesdays being dedicated to other events. Please join us. Any fee is only to cover the cost of reading materials that will be helpful in the class.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our pastor of discipleship, Scott Chafee.

Tuesday Classes

(MUGS) Men Under God's Spirit

Men, join us every Tuesday morning for Bible study, fellowship and coffee. This all-men's study focuses on issues such as integrity, spiritual growth, leadership, etc. Our goal is what our name implies, to challenge men to live under God's Spirit.

Facing Your Giants: the David and Goliath story for everyday people. This exciting book by Max Lucado helps us deal with the personal struggles that can knock us off the path. He provides both encouragement and practical help in achieving victory over the “sin that so easily besets us.” If the young David could, what keeps us from stepping up?

You know your Goliath. You recognize his walk, the thunder of his voice. He taunts you with bills you can't pay, people you can't please, habits you can't break, failures you can't forget, and a future you can't face. But just like David, you can face your giant, even if you aren't the strongest, the smartest, the best equipped, or the holiest.

David. You could read his story and wonder what God saw in him. His life has little to offer the unstained, straight-A saint. He fell as often as he stood, stumbled as often as he conquered. But for those who know the sound of a Goliath, David gives this reminder: focus on giants---you stumble; focus on God---your giants tumble. If you're ready to face your giants, let David's story inspire you. The same God who helped him will help you.

Explores the background of each psalm and psalmist, the majority of which were written by David.

Twelve Ordinary Men

Who were these men? They weren’t saints. They weren’t scholars. They weren’t religious sages. What is most amazing about the disciples is that Jesus ever selected them at all. Among them, a handful of common fishermen, a hated tax collector, and an impulsive political zealot. This study brings you face-to-face with the disciples as you’ve never seen them. You’ll put yourself in their sandals. You’ll understand their doubts and hopes. You’ll hear the power of Jesus’ words in a whole new way. The message is clear. If Christ can accomplish His purposes through the lives of common men like these, imagine what He has in store for you!
