King's Grant Baptist
Church provides a full range of
Christian education, personal
growth, life skills, and
recreation/leisure programs that
help guide every person to identify,
prepare and do their ministry as
directed by the Holy Spirit.
Conducted in an open, friendly
environment with a convenient
schedule, these programs offer many
opportunities for everyone to become
actively involved in ministry, to
uniquely share in fellowship, and to
participate in the various missions
of the church. Programs are focused
on individual needs and lead one to
build a personal relationship with
Christ and a close relationship with
fellow believers.
We operate on a fall
and spring semester schedule,
usually covering thirteen weeks with
various Wednesdays being dedicated
to other events. The current semester
runs January 6 through the end of
April; Wednesday
classes meeting at 6:15 pm.

Ladies'
Study on Wednesday
LaVeryl Brown is
your guide for this Andy Stanley
study. It's no secret that what
you don't know can hurt you. In Defining
Moments, Andy Stanley proposes
a new mind-set about the way you
live your life. Listen in as Jesus
clarifies some rather perplexing
realities for seven biblical
characters who had grown
comfortable with their misinformed
behavior and belief systems.
Discover firsthand how courage to
embrace the truth can set you
free!

Scott Chafee is
leading this general Bible study
that is open for all those who
desire to put their faith into
practice. Jesus has a lot to say
about kingdom life. What does it
really mean to seek first His
kingdom in our relationships,
values, finances and commitment to
God? Jesus' answer to these
questions amazed those who first
heard the Sermon on the Mount.
Come and be challenged by the
greatest sermon ever preached.
There is not one paragraph in this
sermon that Jesus does not draw a
comparison between Christian and
non-Christian standards. This
sermon is the most complete
description of Christian
counter-culture found in the New
Testament.

We are offering
this class for those in service on
Sundays, or those who prefer to
continue their regular Sunday
Bible study materials. Reading is
done on your own, but the small
group setting will help us to
reach our common goal. More on the
BIND challenge may be found
here.

The Better Life Group -
Celebrate Recovery
This is a small group experience to help
you take a positive step in regaining control of your life.
The workbook is a powerful resource for merging the
practical wisdom of the Twelve Steps with the spiritual
truths of the Bible. It combines recovery and spirituality
to give Christians an effective way to work a twelve-step
program with Jesus Christ as their Higher Power. Dave
Brosius is your group facilitator.

Ladies
Bible Study - Daniel, by Beth
Moore
Join Beth Moore in a
faith-building study of prophecy,
and learn how to shine for Christ
in our modern culture. Just as the
prophet Daniel faced unbelievable
pressures— to compromise his
faith, to live in a hostile
culture, and confront temptations
and threats—today's believers
face many of the same trials. This
12-week study will examine the
life of Daniel in an extremely
contemporary way. Then explore the
fascinating prophecies from the
time of Daniel through the second
coming of Christ.
