The next Family First is June 1. All the children grades 1-12 join their families in worship at 9:45. [More ] That afternoon at 3:00 is the church-wide picnic, then quarterly business meeting at 5:00. This is a great opportunity to invite your friends to check out what is happening at King's Grant.

Sermons From a Box

The month of June will bring an intriguing sermon series during morning worship. Did you ever think you would have the opportunity to tell the pastor what to preach? Have you ever thought to yourself, “I have never heard a sermon on __________________ and would love to know more about that topic”? Now’s your chance!

In the welcome center is a red box labeled, “Sermons From a Box” just waiting for your suggestions. Suggestions will be collected throughout the month of May. We also have a place on the KGBC Blog. Let’s hear from you!

Women's Ministry News

The Women's Ministry of King's Grant are planning two spectacular road trips! August 1-2 is the Beth Moore simulcast and we found a location only 75 miles away, so it will not be an over-nighter. [ More ] Contact Katie Goodmurphy for details.

The Women's Ministry has also scheduled to participate in the Women of Faith conference October 31-November 1 in Greensboro, NC. [ More ] See Janice Barber for details.

Serving Supper at the Outreach Center

Many classes are involved in preparing and serving the evening meal at the Judeo-Christian Outreach Center at the ocean front, on Tuesday, May 20, beginning at 5:00. Contact Judy Glass or Linda Dodson for more information.

Connections Class Fellowship Opportunity

We are offering a wonderful get-together for our new members and our guests on Wednesday May 14, from 6:00-8:00 pm. There will be a light supper so your RSVP is needed. Our desire is to connect people to people! Letters of invitation are being sent, basically to new members since January 2008. Call the church office at 340-0902 to make your reservation. Meet other newcomers to the congregation and get to know your staff!

Church-Wide Picnic

On Sunday afterrnoon, June 1 at 3:00, join us for the annual church picnic, on the grounds at King's Grant. Then at 5:00 we have our quarterly business meeting.

Student Activities at King's Grant

The students are on the go all the time! Just take a look at all the planned activities on the youth page. Also, join us for regular gatherings in the Attic, Bible study on Sundays at 9:45 and 11:00, and the mid-week youth meeting on Wednesdays at 6:00. After the meal (at 5:15) the students hang out in the Attic from 6:00-6:30 then are together to experience Bible study with Beth from 6:30-7:30 pm. We could use a few adults to join the group each evening! See Beth about how you might get involved in the student ministry.
